Kimberly Beckler, LMHC
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor in the state of Florida, bringing over two decades of experience in mental health and education to my work with children, teens, and adults. Throughout my career, I’ve supported students, families, educators, and leaders, helping them navigate the complexities of stress, burnout, trauma, and major life transitions with clarity and confidence.
My journey began with a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Rollins College in 2007, where I built my foundation in private practice while also supporting school-based mental health initiatives. Over time, I transitioned into educational leadership, serving as an assistant principal, principal, and ultimately as Director of Mental Health Services for Orange County Public Schools. These roles deepened my expertise in resilience, personal growth, and the intersection between mental health and education—reinforcing my commitment to providing thoughtful, tailored support to every client.
At Life in Focus Therapy, I bring this experience into my private practice, offering in-person therapy for children and teens in Orlando and telehealth services for adults across Florida.
Beyond my work, I find joy in spending time with my family, traveling, planning adventures, and being near water. You might also find me enjoying live performances (once a theatre kid, always a theatre kid!), listening to mental health podcasts, or savoring a strong cup of coffee—because some things just fuel the soul.
